Our engagement specialists offer the following services:

• Interpretation in Hmong, Karen, or Spanish, at events, conferences, home visits, special education meetings and meetings requested by parents.
• Translation of school materials into Hmong, Karen, or Spanish.
• Phone calls on behalf of teachers and school personnel to parents in their native language, or to promote cross cultural understanding.
• Bridging the cultural gap by offering parent/student meetings, support groups, and other services that improve understanding and strengthen relationships between cultures and between the home and school.
